Beauty Gift Guide
I have waited with the best til last with this year’s gift guide series; its beauty gift guide time. as a beauty addict, there’s nothing like finding a great beauty item I have wanted for ages under the tree and with so many great new releases and holiday collections, there’s just so much to chose from. whether you like high end or drugstore makeup and beauty makes a great gift especially for any other fellow blogging gal out there. so let’s begin with my favourite guide of them all, hopefully still in time as I haven’t even started my Christmas shopping yet.
so there has been a palette released for the past couple of years from one of my favourite makeup brands and I have missed out every year. its the hourglass ambient lighting edit palette volume 4. hourglass powders are just something else and having two of them as well as bronzer, blushes and a highlight shade in one palette is just a dream coming true. it looks beautiful and as its high end, it would be a main gift for me but one that’s worth it. another palette I freaked out about when I found out it was being released is the too faced gingerbread spice palette. too faced palette are some of my favourites out there and the shades in it are not only perfect for the season but also high quality and beautiful to use. it also smells insane. not as gingerbread-y as I imagined it to be but yummy anyway. back to hourglass; when I saw their scattered light cream eyeshadows being released, I knew I wanted them. I love a good cream eyeshadow and they just look like the perfect ones and I can say, they are. I got the shades foil and smoke. foil is very wet looking copper and smoke is a neutral shimmery brown. both are amazing to use and would make great gifts for any beauty lover.
highlighter still is all the hype and rightly so. as someone with dry skin, I need my extra glow kick to feel and look alive. my favourite highlighter this year and one to soon come back is the Anastasia Beverly Hills amrezy highlighter. its the perfect shade I’m still so smitten with it. if you can get your hands on it for yourself or to gift, grab it! there’s nothing quite like a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and their matte revolution lipsticks are my favourite. the classic pillow talk nude would be a safe option whilst a dark and very vampy shade such as opium noir could just hit the spot.
if you want to play it a bit more safe as makeup, pamper and body products could be perfect too. lush does Christmas so well and would make any bath lover incredibly happy. gift sets such a beauticology ones are so beautiful.
do you like receiving beauty items for Christmas and if so, what is on your list?
