French Pharmacy Haul
I have been always very lucky with my skin which means it took me a bit longer to get into skincare and properly taking care of my skin. over the past years, I really found a way to treat my dehydrated skin and look after it and make sure its happy for the years to come. when it comes to the brands I want to try and introduce into my routine, I’m quite careful and don’t use many new brands on a regular. there are a few ones that my skin has been loving but they are quite pricey here and only available in the pharmacy. so when i went to France I knew I had to stop by a French pharmacy as they carry amazing skincare and it’s also available for a very good price. the perfect chance to grab some of your favourite products and save a bit of money too. in today’s post, I’m going to show you what I picked up in a French pharmacy.
the one product I went in for is one of my holy grail products. it’s the nuxe reve de miel and I was shocked when I saw how much cheaper it was. its 12,90€ at my local pharmacy and was only 7€ in France. such a steal. I also got another nuxe product which is new to me and its the face cleansing and makeup removing gel. I just love the smell of nuxe products and this also is such a gentle makeup remover. it’s beautiful. the girl at the check out also gave me a few gifts from nuxe in full size which is amazing. one is the after sun hair & body shampoo. its meant to remove sunscreen, salt, chlorine and sand. very useful as we are slowly but surely moving into warmer temperatures and I like going to the spa and having a dip in the pool and this will be perfect after. I also got the precious scented shower oil. it just smells so good and I have actually used it before and it’s amazing. it leaves my skin so soft and makes it look very radiant. perfect for summer too. the la Roche-Posay serozinc used to be such a french pharmacy classic and I haven’ tried it myself. its a spray and it meant to soothe and tone the face. its supposed to be amazing for oily skin but also for irritated skin which mine can be after very stressful days. I also had to get the classic bioderma. such a french pharmacy staple and they had a two bottle deal. I do like the Garnier micellar water but bioderma just is the best.
so here we have my little french pharmacy haul. have you tried any of the products I have mentioned? have you been to a French pharmacy before?
