New In Beauty
I just can’t help it. new beauty items are always slipping into my basket online or I just end up at the beauty counters and whilst my bank might wonder what the hell I’m doing with my coin but I just can’t help it. currently, I’m waiting for a parcel from Charlotte Tilbury. I’m nowhere near working with them but I just love a new matte revolution lipstick and after seeing icovetthee’s latest video, I just had to go ahead and order myself a new dark red lipstick. its just what makes me happy and after all, what fueled this blog. so in today’s post, I thought I would share with you what I have been buying lately and what new in for me beauty wise.
so let’s talk about the new Nars radiant long wear foundation. it recently launched and I have to say, I’m a big fan of Nars foundations as it is and sheer glow probably is my favourite foundation ever. when I saw Lydia Elise Millen talking about it, I knew I had to get I and let me tell you, it’s amazing. it’s not as dewy as sheer glow and thicker and even creamier. the coverage is beautiful and makes my skin look flawless. I was gobsmacked when it first applied it and I can’t stop using it. it’s beautiful, like every Nars foundation I have tried so far.
the ordinary is a brand I use daily. it has changed my skin and I can’t go a day without my current skincare routine. so I ordered a backup of my hyaluronic acid because it probably is my favourite product. I use it twice a day. it makes my skin feel so plump and hydrated and just is what my skin needs. I also use the natural moisturizing factors daily as a facial moisturizer. its beautiful and makeup sits on top of it so well.
deciem which is the head brand of the ordinary also had a brand called stemm. it’s a hair care system which deciem is sadly discontuniung. they discounted all products by around 80% so its all a steal and my best friend recommended them to me so I impulsively ordered some of the products. if you want to read more about it I would suggest heading over to the deciem website. I went for the density stimuli and the black fulvic conditioner. now, trying new hair care is a bit tricky for me. my sculpt is very sensitive and my hair is very thick and long so finding something that is gentle on my sculpt but nourishing but not weighty on the length of my hair can be hard. as I’m writing this post, I ordered two more of the conditioners because I have never used anything like it. it’s a very thick conditioner and smells very familiar to me but I can’t quite put my finger on it. it’s almost berry like. traditional conditioners are known to thin out the hair and causing build up and the stemm conditioner is doing the exact opposite. its reducing build-up and promoted thicker and healthier hair and let me tell you, my hair never felt better. it’s so soft and shiny and swishy and feels even better than after the hairdresser. it’s truly the best haircare I ever used. the stimuli is a leave-in serum which is applied to the sculpt in the evening. its a clear water like formula and leaves no residue in the hair. this and the conditioner have given me the best looking and feeling hair I have ever had.
so here we have all the new products I got recently. have you tried any of them? let me know.
