Dreamy Valentine’s Makeup
valentines is something not everyone is up for but even if you are not in the market for candlelit dates or a romantic trip to the cinema but maybe going out with friends on Friday or clubbing on Saturday is on your agenda? whatever you’re up to, my current valentines makeup faves will probably go with your plans. personally, I don’t do much for valentines day as our anniversary is right before but I like to be quite seasonal with my makeup and we already made plans for the weekend. they are not valentines related but worth getting ready for and just taking some time to shake up my usual daily makeup.
theres one thing I can’t stop using right now and it is my it cosmetics cc cream. I never really used cc creams before but its just so good. its consistency is quite thick but on the skin its very light and just makes my skin look glowy and even but my freckles are not covered up. it’s a very good base that is just light which is what I prefer but is a little more than my the ordinary serum foundation. I also have the it cosmetics bye, bye undereye concealer and it’s a bit thicker and a higher coverage than what I used before but it makes me look so awake even after the longest week. I use the shades light and medium and I have to make sure I use powder with them because otherwise it creases like a bitch but it just ties everything together. I’m also still obsessed with the Becca first light priming filter. it just makes everything glow and stay in place all night. a pop of pink on the cheeks is just what works so well with the season and generally all year around. the maxfactor blush in seductive pink is my choice at the moment. recently I started using a cream shadow from Kiko again. it’s out of their cream crush range and its the shade 05. its a very shimmery champagne silver. its amazing and just adds something special to the eyes. another palette I always seem to whip out as soon as valentines day approaches and all the way into spring is the urban decay naked 3 palette. its very pink tones make it perfect for this time of year and it’s a great palette. lately, I have been using fake lashes a lot more because they can look so lovely and are perfect for a night out. ardell demi wispies are my favourite lashes to exist. they are perfect. one product I’m also not over is Becca champagne pop. it’s the best highlighter ever. so glowy and I would cover my face with it if I could. to finish it all of, I have been using my Jo Malone english oak & hazelnut so much recently. its the perfect woody scent and I can’t get enough of it.
do you have plans for valentines or the weekend? have you used any of the products I mentioned? what do you think?
