New In: Beauty
a new year means new beauty purchases and I feel like around and after Christmas theres always gift cards or Christmas money and love spending it on makeup. whenever one of my non-blogging friends goes through my collection they ask how I even want to add more because I do have quite a lot but its an obsession and ever-growing collection. especially with all the “best of 2017” videos going up which make me want to go beauty shopping asap. recently I have collected a few new items I happily got to add to my collection and I’m gonna share them with you in today’s post.
in with the new
sephora opened back in November I think it was and I know finally can shop makeup brands I love without flying to the UK or US. the first thing I picked up when I was there mainly to buy Christmas presents was Becca champagne pop. one of the most hyped products in the blogging world and rightly so. it probably is the most beautiful highlighter I have ever bought and used. it gives such a candlelit glow and I can’t stop using it. to go with it and because I always wanted to add a nice fan brush I got the zoeva luxe fan brush 129 from the rose gold collection. I feel like when it comes to value for money, zoeva is just right up there because this brush wasn’t too pricey but its so soft and just makes my cheeks extra glowy with champagne pop. I really need to get myself a whole brush set from them. jeffree star cosmetics does the best liquid lipsticks in my opinion and they did a sale before Christmas. I just had to pick up two shades and I have been wearing them so much. one is Redrum. its the perfect blue toned cherry red that’s not too bright nor too dark or berry toned. the other one is an orange. I personally love orange lipsticks and its Anna Nichole, a shade I have been eyeing up for quite a while and it’s just so perfect. I know I will be wearing it so much more in summer. I always try to tell myself that I have enough palettes and don’t need anymore but then I see a new one or one I don’t have yet and I give in. when I saw my local drugstore stocking bh cosmetics and the new and bigger Carli Bybel palette, I got it immediately. I love Carli and I have her previous palette and have used it so much but when the new one got online, I didn’t really go for it. it’s amazing though, especially when it comes to value for money. it contains eyeshadows and highlighters which are all buttery smooth and pigmented. one product that is a classic “youtube made me buy it” is the first light priming filter primer by Becca. lily pebbles featured it in her 2017 favourites and really trust her and feel like most products she loves, I love too. the lavender colour might look odd but it just gives the nicest glow and my skin truly looks more awake and radiant. it’s beautiful.
so here we have a little beauty haul and I’m so happy to add new items to my collection. have you tried any of the products featured? let me know.
