A new diptyque

when i started blogging i saw so many people talking about diptyque candles or people had them in their backgrounds and featured them on social media and when i first saw the price tag of them i was like "oh hell no". i never could imagine myself spending this much money on something i'm gonna light on fire which basically means i could spray my money with perfume and burn it. this concept of mine very quickly changes when i smelled through all dipyque candles at my local counter and it was safe to say, i wanted them all. for my birthday i got the mini vanille candle which i blogged about too, such a lovely gift and after having my first dipytque candle and burning it for the first time, i was hooked. they are just such a treat, look lovely, fill the room with their scent so easily without even burning and they feel so super special. weird what a candle can do to you. last month, i decided to treat myself to another. i wanted a mini one again as they are cheaper and don't make you feel as guilty and very quickly i fell in love with one of their classic scents baies. many people seem to love it and rightly so. its so fresh but so deep at the same time. its supposed to be berry scented but not too much. i personally don't like the scent of berries a lot but it has the fruitiness of them. the other main scent is juniper. it smells a bit like needles and leaves and the woods in early spring. just beautiful. it currently lives in my kitchen and i love it.

do you own a diptyque candle yourself? let me know which ones because my collection will surely expand over the next months and years.
