Kiko | #Blogtober

to me, kiko is kinda like a more budget friendly version of mac outlook wise. there has been a kiko store in my nearby mall for absolute ages and as i just love make up i went there right when it opened and was really disappointed. every thing i bought turned out to not be good quality so i basically never went in there ever again. recently kiko seemed to make an appearance on a lot of peoples blogs and channels and about a year ago i went in there again, picked up some stuff and absolutely love it. a friend of mine is obsessed with their eye shadows and wanted to get an entire palette full of eye shadows but it was sold out for the longest time. at my local kiko, you’ll get the palette for free if you buy six clic shadows and they were on offer for only 1,90€ (i knooooow). since she didn’t want to spend around 20€ for the empty palette she just got a few shadows and gave them to me as a present. i was over the moon and so happy. so today i’m gonna share them with you.

first of all, i haven’t tried the eye shadows on my lids just yet but as far as i can tell by swatching them, they are really pigmented but not as buttery as my urban decay or too faced shadows. they are just more powdery but not chalky.
first one is the shade 210. a perfect true chocolate brown. perfect for the crease or even smudged into the lower lash line. very excited to use it on myself.
the next one is one of my friends favorites. its the color 235. its more of a reddish brown and i recently have been loving those shades. i find them to be super nice for fall and a little twist on your average ashy brown.

the next shades are not your every day shades, at least for me. both are really smokey and seem perfect for a night out look. the first one is 294. a very deep dark taupey grey. its almost black but not quite and i have to say i don’t have anything like it in my collection and i can’t wait to use it for a smokey eye. also a really unique shade is 288. its a very dusty glittery navy blue but not a true blue as its so dark and has a lot of grey to it. i’m not too much into bright colors on my eyes but this could just be a very nice twist on a smokey eye and imagine it being so nice as an eye liner.

second to last is the shade 213. its a red toned mid tone brown. i have a very similar one in my too faced palette and i absolutely love it. perfect in the crease or on the entire lid and i can’t wait to use it. last one is 255. a very warm and light shimmery gold which i can’t have enough of. gold to me is just so nice on the eyes and i don’t exactly have a very light gold in my collection so something i’m very looking forward to. i hope they are good on the eyes as they look because it would be amazing to get good quality eye shadows for only 2€, so i will report back on that. have you tried any kiko products and which ones are your favorites, i would love to try more.
