Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation | #Blogtober

i know i did a first impression video a while ago but as i’ve been using the foundation daily, i though it would dedicate an entire post to my new favorite foundation and break down what makes me love it so much, so here we go:
the foundation comes in a 30 ml frosted glass bottle with a pump and a rose gold lid. charlotte tilbury packaging is just beautiful to look at and to photograph, also the lid makes it super easy to control the amount of foundation you want to use which is great for a long term use. i also find products with pumps a lot more hygienic on the long term use. the foundation itself comes in 12 different shades and retails for 40€ which makes it come in at the high end price mark. i got mine on net-a-porter.com and went for the shade light 2.

to apply the magic foundation i use my real techniques expert face brush and about one and a half pumps, i start of from the middle of my face. the foundation promises to have full coverage and is enriched with hyaluronic acid, laricyl and vitamin c to make sure the skin stays moisturized. my skin tends to get dry easily and foundation will cling to dry spots which makes my overall make up not look too good by the end of the day. one layer of the magic foundation provides enough coverage to make my skin look even but my freckled still shine through which i absolutely adore, its a dream to blend and sits right super easily. it also doesn’t fade patchy or weirdly and easily lasts the entire day without making you look weird or cakey. as the finish it dewy it makes the skin appear glowey and even but never sweaty or wet which easily can be the case with dewy foundations. to me, its one of the best foundations i’ve ever tried. its smooth, easy to work with, stays put the entire day, keeps my skin truly moisturized but its not like a mask. your natural skin tone and freckles shine trough which i never had with a foundation before and that it actually what makes me love it the most.

i know, 40€ are a lot to spend on a foundation but i personally always got along better with high end foundations and charlotte tilbury is an amazing high end brand which such good value for the money you spend and if you have problems with dry skin this might be the foundation for you.
