oops, i did it. i went a bit crazy whilst i was on holiday in england. but there are just so many beautiful things in normally can’t get my hands on, so i just needed to. also, i knew that i was going on this trip for almost a year and that was the point were i started to save up and write a wishlist and read more into the products that i was interested in, so i can really get things i will use and love. off course i decided to share all the products with you and today i sat down to film my hauls and my beauty one will hopefully be up by tomorrow. because i am just too excited to share everything with you, i decided to show you what i bought at spacenk in bath…so here we go:
as you probably know, i’m deeply, deeply in love with the nars sheer glow foundation. its by far the best foundation i’ve tried with the best finish. i won’t go into too much detail about my love affair with but it just gives the perfect amount of coverage with the perfect healthy glow. for a long time, i was using the shade deauville but recently i found it to be to yellow for my skin and i went for the mont blanc shade in the end which is perfect match and i’m using it religiously.
the by terry ombré black stars have been raved about for so many times and i wanted to get my hands on one for a really long time. they seem to be the perfect easy and lazy day product but also perfect for as a base for a full on eye make up. if you’ve never heard of them, they are basically super pigmented and creamy eyeshadow sticks which either supply a saddle and easy finish or can be built up to a fully opaque finish. the only thing that was really hard for me was to pick a shade and i wasn’t quite sure which one to go for until suzie from hello october, who i admire, mentioned the misty rock shade in a video and i fell in love. its such a nice bronzey brown with a silvery purpley shimmer. it looks different on anyone and i find it looks especially beautiful with brown eyes so i was really happy when i was able to call it mine.
another product that has been featured everywhere and has been everyones favorite are the hourglass ambient lightning powders. i think i wanted one for years and still didn’t buy one in london, i don’t even know why. this time i couldn’t leave without one. when i was in london, i decided the shade diffused light would be the best for me and now in finally have it in my collection and so far i just want to swirl it over my face at any time. so i think its safe to say that it is true love for me. i will surely report back on how i get on in the long term.
so here we go. a little sneak peak into my huge uk beauty haul. have you tried any of these products. what do you think?
