Love at the second sight
its no secret that i adore urban decay eyeshadows and off course their naked palettes, they are just perfection, the colors are so versatile and the quality of them is out of this world. they are richly pigmented, so buttery and they blend like an absolute dream. i own all three naked palettes and i got the first and my first one back when i went to new york in 2012 and i just fell in love with all the warm toned nudes except one, it was the shade sidecar. for some reason i never used it, it just seemed way too glittery for my liking and i hardly ever touched it until a few weeks back;
i was browsing through my naked palette as i was using other eyeshadows more often but i wanted to give my old trusty naked palette some attention and after seeing someone use sidecar in a tutorial i just gave it a go and it was love, at second sight.
sidecar seems to be a shade that is just way to glittery to be worn on a day to day basis and i have to admit, in the palette the glitter looks way to chunky and chalky. when i actually padded it on my lid i was so amazed, it is in fact a super smooth looking bronze with silvery shimmer and glitter and it catches the light to beautifully and makes my eyes look wide awake. even though it is glittery, it is the perfect shade for an everyday eye make up and i have had it on ever since i’ve actually tried it for the first time.
have you tired the naked palettes or sidecar in particular? please let me know what you think.
