{ Make Yourself Up } Cranberry Eyes

berry and plummy colors are basically a must in a fall make up and i'm just not a big fan of plummy or berry lipstick, on me at least, so i just love to use  the intensive colors on my eye lids and i love the mix those rich colors with golds to make them look even better but also wearable for any day time activities as i always like my make up to be quite a bit more dramatic but always wearable for the day.
i got my fist maybelline color tattoos a few weeks ago and went to the cranberry color, having a few fall make up ideas with this beautiful and rich color in my mind and  just sat down and played around with the color and came up with this lovely berry colored eye look which i'm gonna show you today.

as always, use the foundation, concealer and powder that works great with your skin and just do you face as normal. i went for a rosy blush with golden sparkles because i will use a gold on my eyes later on and it makes your skin really, really glowy and just beautiful looking. prime your eyes as usual and then grab the maybelline color tattoo in metallic pomegranate and pat in on the eyelids with a normal eyeshadow brush. it is a really buildable color so if you want just a hint of the color, pat in on softly. i wanted an even and quite intense coat of the color on my lid. i used a fluffy blending brush to blend out the color amd give a softer look.
to define the eyeshadow a bit more, i used a dark smokey brown in the crease and blended it in with the cranberry color. to capture the gold shimmer in the color i used a gold on the inner corner of my eyes.
because the eyeshadow is really intense itself, i did a very thin cat eye and used mascara as usual.

i feel like the picture of the color tattoo doesn't quite do any justice to the color. its just so rich and creamy. it is a true pomegranate color which goes on so creamy on the lids. darkhorse from the naked 2 palette was the perfect color to work in the crease area to make the look even deeper and more intense.
to finish the make up, i went for a soft coraly lipstick, such as coral bliss by mac which adds a little something to the lips but leaved them quite natural, so the focus really is on the eyes.

i hoped you enjoyed my fist fall make up tutorial. there are more to come and i'm even thinking about an smokey eye with the color tattoo.  please let me know, if you want to see any make up looks, or looks that i should recreate. love you guys.

  7. Cranberry looks pretty with your dark hair and eyes. I love the Color Tattoos as primers - they're so bold and pigmented, and definitely creamy.
